Im in such a happy happy happy mood that words cant express how excited and contented I really am!!!
I waited almost to 6 years and BIGBANG has finally decided to hold a concert in Singapore! its not their first time in Singapore but its their first ever concert in Singapore! And i was really close to giving up & not having the chance to attend their concert... so miracles do exist & happen :)
Sooo, the story goes like this
First day of buying the tix online which starts at 10am, i camped there since 8am cuz i cldnt sleep at all, thinking of snatching being within few mins... (fan girls are crazy & smart ppl, so never mess with them)
and when it was time to buy them, Sistic started to lag so badly bcuz so
many ppl were on its page for only 1 purpose! But i must say, I was
really impress with what Sistic did bcuz they were anticipating high traffic flow and so, they decided to do this for visitors to navigate easily! see pict below
And thinking of having higher chances of getting the tickets and being a very typical kiasu singaporean, i had to have all 3 of my internet; Firefox, Safari & Chrome opened!! lol
By 10.01am (according to Sistic timing), almost half of the seats had been gone, and by that i mean the best ones!!! It was really that crazy & scary... OMG D:
I kept trying to get the seats but it kept refreshing into a new page, and the best part, it applied to all 3 of my internet pages.. Time check, it was 10.08am and that ended the sales of the tix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of the tix were marked red, which meant that all the tix were unavailable.. I almost wanted to cry bcuz I waited so long & tried my very best but really had no luck at all :'( And the worst part was, ppl on fb & twitter were saying that they got the tix, depressing ttm :(
And just when I was in the midst of the day, sulking away bcuz i cldnt get the BIGBANG tix, everywhere online posted that BIGBANG was gona add a second date to their concert in Singapore due to the overwhelming ! OMGGGGGG, theres light once again! WHOOHOOOOO
so once again, the cycle repeated & i woke up early to camp at Sistic's website! I even decided to call my mom to help me get the tix cuz I felt that I alone may not be able to secure them! 10am came and I was multitasking all the way! And by 10.01am, mom called to ask how was I doing and I told her i got through and am purchasing the tix! Hung up the phone and few seconds later, my transaction was UNSUCCESSFUL!!!!!!! :( I WANTED TO CRY CUZ IT MEANT I HAD TO TRY MY LUCK AGAIN
Decided to email Sistic bcuz their lines were engaged every second that I was calling them! and while awaiting their reply, I got through another transaction, though it wasnt the seats we were eyeing for! Just as long as we get the chance to go to their concert & to be able to see our guys, we are satisfied! SADLY THE 2ND TRANSACTION WAS UNSUCCESSFUL!!!!! WHY OH WHY!?! And once again, i got to commend on the good & fast response from Sistic to my email, truely a good effort from them (Y) As I was reading their email, the person who replied the email pointed out some pointers for me to take note, regarding buying tix online! And i realise, the 1st transaction got cancelled bcuz i was using Firefox which was not suitable! So i decided to focus on the other 2 opened internet tabs and try my luck, AGAIN...
The cycle repeated again, tiring but persevered till the end! True enough, my patience paid off bcuz the 3rd TRANSACTION WAS SUCCESSFUL, OMG!!!!! i was tearing already cuz I cldnt believe it, plus the seats given to me were better than the earlier 2 :) Told Boon about it and she was laughing like hell, going crazy! ahahahahha
So yes people, miracles actually do exist, especially when you least expect it! People like me, dont actually believe it but sometimes you just need to have some patience :)
