This blog is definitely dead because I doubt no one reads it since I have not updated it more than a year ago!
As usual, one year as gone by and alot of things happened. I realised that I tend to forget certain events that happened which isnt something I like because I enjoy remembering things that are important to me so that in the future, I can look back at it! Another reason that I think I should start my blogging habits is because I need to start improving my writing. It has became atrocious since I lost touch in writing, which is about 2years ago? Similarly, I need to start reading books again because I feel it would definitely change the way I write for my essays in uni. Certain old habits have got to come back!
Speaking of Uni, yes I am doing my Bachelors of Psychology in James Cook University Singapore JCU) since October last year. Just 4 days ago, I ended my exams and so i am officially going to be in my second year when school starts on 21st Oct! 3 trimesters each year and I tell you, this isnt easy! Honestly, I really hate it because everything is in a rush! We go to school for less than 3 months; in which we have to study for mid terms, complete assignments & have presentations... And just 1-2 weeks after school ends, we have exams! Its really insane because we have very little time to do revision for exams unlike poly, where we had at least almost 5 months to do everything in each semester! I miss everything about poly so much.. friends, teachers, food in NP & traveling time! Urgh, whoever said uni is their best time of the lives have not gone to poly or rather, Ngee Ann Poly's FMS! haha ok im being bias here! Perhaps another reason why Im not enjoying uni as compared to poly is because of the school I am in now. My school is an Australian private uni where it doesnt feel like how I felt when I went to primary, secondary and poly. I dont know how to describe it but its definitely something new! NTU, NUS, SIM & SMU have alot of fun & interesting activities organized at certain times of their school year! In JCU, you dont really have much activities at all! Anyway, right now the most important thing for me in uni is to get good grades for me to pass my degree! Of course it would be a miracle if I can get into honours but I highly doubt thats gona happened bcos my grades for this sem is gona suck like hell! No high hopes at all, especially for the Learning & Behaviour module and Statistics2 because exams were BAD!! And for statistics2, I blame the lecturer because the hints he gave us for our short answer questions, NONE OF THEM CAME OUT! I know it wouldnt make a difference, but it really does reflect about your teachings & YOU being a teacher! I dare to say almost all my poly lecturers (except for one adjunct Indian tutor who assisted us in our marketing module & didnt really teach us well during tutorials) were a million times better than some of the lecturers in my uni!
Anyway, other than going to school 3 times a week, my life is pretty much boring until it gets to the holidays that its so much more exciting & fun! Now that I have started my holidays, I have been meeting up with people almost everyday! I will post about this week's outing with some people sooon!
